Boogie Dance Cafe Update
Hey all you Boogie Dancers,
Owing in part to my tech-phobia, Miutante's move to the sunny central coast and Brut33's travels through Germany and Italy you'll have noticed a lack in posts/contributions to this blog for the last two months. This, however, is not indicative of the behind the scenes work currently being carried out to keep the Boogie Dance Cafe institution a hot spot for quality boogie dance music in Sydney, Australia. The radio show continues with the dedicated work of Brut33 and Mikey Miutante 11-12:30 on East Side 89.7 and Harry Sounds has developed a growing rotating assembly of quality djs at the Broadway Cafe location.
Things to expect from this Blog in the coming months are:
- Features on both the BDC contributors and their hand picked local fav Djs focussing on old and new boogie dance music floating our boat, as well as obscure treasures dug up locally and from abroad.
- Details/transcripts of BDC radio interviews
- A monthly posting of Broadway Cafe Guests now running on Friday and Saturday nights
- Live recorded sets from the Broadway Cafe.
So stay tuned for more to come in the world of local Sydney boogie dance music and the development of an access point to the eccentric underground collectors and selectors that colour the harbour city.
